Amend accepts payment through PayPal services (VISA, MasterCard, American Express).

All prices shown on the website are given in Swedish kronor (SEK), in Euro (EUR), or in US Dollar (USD). VAT is included within the EU. The customer is responsible for any custom costs that may apply. Shipping cost is not included and will vary depending on the country you are ordering from. The shipping costs will be specified in the purchase order, so that the cost is visible before completing the order.

When you place the order, the full order amount including shipping cost will be held on your card. Once the order is confirmed by us, the amount will be charged from your card.


A binding purchase agreement is entered as soon as you receive an order confirmation to your e-mail adress of your placed order. Amend will process your order as soon as the transaction has been received.

When the order is received, the factory will begin producing your made to order shoes. The approximate delivery time is around 3-4 weeks.

For our RTW items, the delivery time is approximately 5 days once Amend has received and confirmed your order.

Please note that above mentioned deliveries are provided as guidelines only, not taking in account possible delays. If a package is not collected, we reserve the right to charge you a fee covering the return shipment to us.


All dispatched items are insured by Amend during the time in transit until it is delivered to you. If an item was received damaged, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt. 

Returns and exchange

RTW shoes and accessories:

You are entitled to return your items within 14 days from the time you received your order. The returned items must be in the same condition in which they were sold. Returned shoes can only be tried on a carpeted surface. All items should be returned to the Amend Atelier shop in Stockholm in its original packaging with the receipt. Please make sure to return the shoes and shoebox inside another box to prevent any damage on the original packaging.

Amend Atelier will issue a refund to the purchasers credit card whitin 30 days from the date of reception. 

You are reponsible for the shipment of the returned items. Items lost during transport will not be compensated for. Shipping charges on returns are at the customer's expense. You cannot exchange or return sale items.

Made to order shoes:

Each shoe is customized and can therefore not be returned or exchanged. The return policy in the consumer protection law does not apply on made to order products.


Your shoes are considered faulty if they are different from the design you initally ordered. This does not apply to colors and leather texture since your actual pair of shoes may look slightly different from the one you see on the screen.

If an item have a manufacturing fault or becomes defective during the course of normal wear, please contact Amend within 12 months.

Shoe care

Our shoes are made from the finest, high quality leather. Slight marks and color variations are natural features of the leather and should not be treated as defects. After some time your shoes may start to look a little tired. Please take a moment to read through these recommendations to help lenghten the life of your shoes.


Protect your new shoes from water marks and stains by using a suitable protective spray or cream. Ask your local shoe repairer for advise on what the correct treatment if for you shoes, as this can vary. If you plan to use your shoes often in rainy or snowy weather conditions, ask your local shoerepairer to add an extra rubber sole. It will protect the leather sole and also make it less slippery.


Clean your leather shoes by wiping them down with a soft cloth or by brushing with a horsehair shoebrush. For suede and nubuck, use a suede brush to take away dirt and dust. For patent leathers, simply wipe away marks with a soft cloth. Special treatments are available for particularly dirty shoes. Ask your local shoe repairer for suggestions on which product is best.


With time leather will becoma a bit dry and dull in color. In order to retain the quality it is important to keep the leather moisturized. First, clean your shoes then use a suitable cream recommended by your shoerepairer. Suede shoes can be brushed with a suede brush to keep the look of the fibers raised and nice.

Wet shoes:

Wet shoes should be dried at room temperature. Using shoetrees helps the shoes the shoes keep their original shape and absorb moisture. Do not use direct heat when drying your shoes as this will make the leather dry and cause it to crack.

Top piece:

Check the top piece on your heels regularily. The shoes must be taken to your shoerepairer to replace before they wear down completely.


Always use a shoehorn when putting your shoes on as it will prevent damage around the heel area. Try and alternate between different pairs of shoes so that they all get a days rest in between usage.
